Michelle Kingsmith
P.Ag,  Alberta and BC

Manager, Environmental Assessment of Ecosis Ltd

Michelle Kingsmith has over 18 years of experience in the environmental consulting field and has spent a significant amount of time in the field and office conducting assessment, remediation, and reclamation projects. Michelle has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with a concentration in GIS from the University of Lethbridge. She is a dual-registered Professional Agrologist in Alberta and B.C. Her strengths include technical work, team leadership, client relationships and budgeting. In her current role as the Manager of Environmental Assessments at Ecosis. Michelle manages the Ecosis Environmental team; ensuring clients’ work portfolios and budgets are managed to the highest standards. She is also qualified by Equitable Origin as an auditor and assessor in Oil and Gas and Mining practices.

Olaf Wielens
R.T. Ag.

Senior Environmental Consultant

Olaf Wielens has over 24 years of environmental consulting experience in the oil and gas sector. He is highly experienced in environmental site assessments (ESAs); remediation, reclamation and construction management related to the upstream and midstream oil and gas industry. As a Registered Technical Agrologist in Alberta Olaf’s expertise in wellsite and associated facilities reclamation, including site supervision and logistics is key within management of Integrated Area Closure programs.

Throughout most of his career, he has managed programs in varied environments across Alberta, and Saskatchewan. Olaf’s experience is central in training and coaching junior and intermediate staff concerning conducting safe and high-quality fieldwork and project management.

Brandy Faris 
B.Sc. ENCS, MPM, A.Ag

Water Resources, Project Management

Brandy is a successful project manager with over 15 years of experience working with both energy and environmental clients. She brings innovative and cost-effective solutions to regulatory, operational, and asset retirement programs across multiple jurisdictions.

With an Environmental B.Sc. and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management, Brandy is responsible for evaluating and developing solutions for water sources, storage, conveyance, treatment and disposal within various projects.

She has coordinated water resource strategies and operational execution for a multitude of domestic and international clients including Suncor Energy, Canadian National Resources, Murphy Oil and Crescent Point Energy.
